I looked at a similar scoop years ago and was wondering how effective it may be. I certainly don’t think it would hurt to give it a try.

Everything I have read on this forum says they really don't add any benefit. Better off implementing an actual trans cooler.

I can't comment on the cooling impact, but it might make oil changes difficult. It appears that scoop is close to the oil drain plug. Unless one is careful to slowly pull out drain plug (and maybe leave in the oil fill cap to keep pressure down), the pressure of the draining oil might shoot right onto that scoop.

So it catches and diverts draining oil, AND directs air to cool the transmission?
