Nothing new. This has been going on for a while now because of the chip shortage.
Varoom is always higher .................. Till one adds in their fees. By the time all is said and done, their bottom line price will be close to what a local dealer will offer. Local Ford dealer bought our 6 mo ST Explorer $45k cash. Varoom was $45,250 net after fees !Just wanted to share my story. I decided to sell my 19 GT Performance Pack 2 to start saving for my retirement, pay off some debt , etc. I planned to sell to Carmax and last weekend I put her back to stock. I stripped everything off but the air intake. Long and short I went to local Carmax and they offered 40K even. I thought that was fair and went home to switch out floor mats and personal items. I decided to check Vroom website just to see if they would offer more and they did, about $2500 more. I’m not thrilled about the 2 or 3 days for Vroom pickup process but $2500 more dollars seems doable. I am in no rush to sell but you have to “strike while the iron is hot,”
I am thinking of getting another truck next year but no rush to get something new. Also I got lots of used Mustang GT parts in the member classified. Check me out!
Can't really judge the market by the venture capital stuff. I suspect a lot of their come down on offers also has to do with how much inventory they vacuumed up over the last few months.

I hope your right but from what I’ve been reading I think this shift in what’s happening is going to change a lot of things when it comes to vehicle pricing and ordering. I just saw a article where Ford’s CEO was complaining on how they loose a ton of dough to incentives. He said going forward they will only keep at most 30-60 days of stock at any given dealer.
That's a great deal. $400 shifter, $1100 Ford Performance calibration kit, $1000 in shocks and springs, and only 463 miles. It has also has paint correction done and it's super clean. Someone will truly get a great car. It's mint.
It had 681 miles when it left my house on a truck, so I'm assuming no joy rides yet.
that's not up to Ford since the dealer is the one carrying inventory. Incentives are regional so unless Ford polices dealer inventory vs sales at each large dealer they will be forced to deny dealer orders. And dealers had no compunction ordering cars under the staff's names and falsify customer orders for the Mach 1. Granted those numbers are a mere handful.
which is insanity squared. The MSRP was 40.4 and I bought the same car for 36 in Jan 2019
