If a vendor would start making one of these at a reasonable price they would make a killing.

You did a great job OP! The front looks so much better without the stupid chrome emblem.
Thank!

Really clean look, man. I know you're a perfectionist, but I would doubt anyone would notice these slight imperfections.
Like previous posters said, with a little work you could probably have a market for them!
Would be way too much work to make these unless i can somehow make a mold.

Looks great. I'm tempted to order a couple of grilles real soon.
Think its time to bite the bullet!

That turned out awesome for a DIY! Good job sticking with it and following thru, great end result! I hope a vendor sees this and produces something similar.

Started a 2nd grille. This is after the initial sanding from gluing everything up.

Looking good. What didn't you like about your first grille?

Initially it was my sanding but no one seems to notice where it was glued together. I had already bought another grill so I figured why not just make a 2nd one.

Why not simply paint the Mustang black? Seems like a lot less work and solves the problem.

Well no then you end up with a black mustang not opening holes.

I think it looks pretty nice. I am digging the triangles on the sides. My GT/SC grills don't have them.

I've thought about This before! Very tedious work. I really like the look of the finished product.

I swapped my grille, so I have my OEM. PM me anyone if you're interested in getting it to try this mod out.

Now my grille change is on hold, I really like this whole idea, and you did it great!

I know old post but hopefully not a dead subject. Maybe the mesh ideas took over...
