So I have a 19 mustang GT and I bought a mesh grill kit from custom car grilles I think it was 80$ and I was going to cut out my grille and insert the mesh but I think I will see the active grille shudder through the grill once done. Also I plan on getting the hellion twin turbo kit in the future so it will come out for the intercooler install I'm sure. Should I just remove it? I have heard you can remove the motor and ziptie it to the crash bar to keep it from throwing a light. I don't know a whole lot about that system but from what I've read it's just a fuel economy thing. I autocross the car and plan on hiring some road course tracks in June. Would this hurt my performance or cooling in any way? I am more about function than form so if it really works for more than gas milage I'll try and keep it but it's also front weight I wouldn't mind loosing some. Also any ideas for other small mods when in there to increase cooling or performance in any way let me know. I plan on doing it next weekend. Thanks all
