Matt at Custom Car Grilles is a good guy to work with. The one they have had out for several months now can be purchased complete and ready to install (on the GT grilles (upper and lower) for $275 plus shipping and handling. Had I known that I may have just let him do the work but I had already bought the GT grilles.

LOL! Jon it is pretty easy really. I will be installing the new Custom Car Grilles mesh kit on my Vert this afternoon. The website has instruction on how to cut it out and with the kit being pre-bent it goes on pretty easy. From the back it looks like a hot mess but from the front it looks amazing. Will post installed pics when tomorrow. Total with the GT grilles and the kit, I am at about $250 total. Just dreading the 7mm bolts removal:shrug:

Okay installed it last night. I did not have a very easy time even with a lift. The dreaded 7mm bolts were a pain even though the second one came of a lot faster, there is some sound deadening material in the fender well. Pulling the old grille off was difficult and a second set of hand is a big help. All in all I think it looks great! Too bad the sun did not come out much today in Sunny San Diego, I will take more when the light cooperates.

Bought another grille and used my dremel to cut out the grille. Total cost was $48.

I wonder how it would look on the car with just the middle removed.

What is the correct lower grille if you are ordering new grilles? I see one ends with BA and one ends with CA. The upper grille I know ends with BA can anyone clarify the differences in the lower grille? Besides just that one has chrome surround and one doesn't... I'm not sure what that means. Thanks!
