Anyone have any issues with excess water getting anywhere it shouldnt be? Either from washing with a pressure washer or just massive amount of rain?

Was wondering about this-- I'd like to keep the pony emblem in the middle of the grill. How would that mount?

I ordered the Howler badges, but before that I was thinking about some black tri bars. I think they'd look awesome!

P-51 Theme

I decided to put a little character into my car. I love the mesh grille but since the car is named after a Famous WWII Airplane and not a horse, I designated it "P-51" with offset chrome letter and numbers. I also put WWII National Insignia on the fenders with a small running pony emblem to further the theme. In a bit, I will be getting the Ford Racing pony less rear decklid panel and put the same size National Insignia (in silver) with the same 3" chrome pony to finalize the look. When people ask me what kind of car is that, I am going to say "Its a P-51!"

Nice!

Not to change the subject, but I always remove all alpha numeric badging from my cars. I like symbolic badging though. One issue will be the 5.0s on the front fenders since they have holes behind them. If those ponies you bought cover those holes and fit well with the curvature of the fenders, I would like to know how to order a pair just like them. Thanks

Well, I don't have a GT. I loved the GT grille though but never a fan of big chrome ponies. I bought the grills and installed a Custom Car Grill kit which looked good but went for the theme. Since the Ecoboost has no fender badge, I did not have that issue to deal with. There are two sizes of these badges 3" and 4" but no idea how many holes are behind the GT badge.

Thanks for those pics! I'm having Matt from CCG send me the exact mesh pre cut and bent.
