IMO those might help but they are not high enough on the rear quarter panel between the rear wheel and the door. If you are putting spacers on or using wheels that bump out farther that the stock wheels you are going to get rock chips. I haven't noticed any chips in my paint in the locations...

That sounds nice. If you have time take 61 along the river and hit some of those back roads that wind up and down the Mississippi river valley, great fun to drive. I frequent them between Lake City and Winona.
Honestly if you are that worried about rock chips have something like the clear 3m rock guards put on your quarter panels. I did after I had rock chips even with mud flaps. Wish I would have just had it done to start with.
I have used Sun Control of Minnesota, in Rochester for years. By far the best shop I have found down here. Pretty sure they have office in the metro as well.
