I get paid $388 every week to do it though, added in to the expense check. Yeah it sucks, but if I drove it 100K miles, they will have paid me 56K to do it. Close to a push I'd say, and I get to drive a cool car while at work out of town.

Interviewing for a new job tomorrow, it may all be a moot point anyway.

My 16 GT is a dd. Prior to this I had a long history of a separate dd and a weekend garage queen. But now my commute is very short the extra vehicle isn’t necessary. A GT Premium auto makes a great dd.

All year round for me don't see the point in having a car and not using it.

I've never had the luxury of owning multiple cars at the same time. I put 130k miles on my S2000 in 7 years and people thought I was nuts daily driving that car.

I have a 60 mile commute to and from work on weekdays and I've been averaging 20k miles a year for about 6 years now. I know some people have "beater" cars for the daily grind but I don't see the point in driving a boring car everyday. None of my cars have been fuel efficient and I have spent thousands on gas. However, I drive a lot, why not make the commute as fun as possible?

I daily drive my 15 GT with a Whipple (and a bunch of other mods). I don't like watching the miles add up but then again, the cost of buying and insuring a second car can be high and what fun is driving a beater or eco mobile for most of your driving miles? My commute isn't long but with my luck, I'd be driving my beater every time a Lambo wanted to show off his paid-for prowess around here and that just wouldn't do...

I bought my 2018 as a garage queen. Reason is, I have had a company issued car since I got out of college, I am 40 now and never owned my own vehicle (other than what my wife drives). Two months ago, I said screw it, I'm buying myself a car. So, she gets driven on weekends mostly, and sometimes during the week, if it's nice out. in 2 months of ownership, she has 650 miles on her.

DD is my 17 F150 Platty. And I love it tho it was quite a bit more costly than my 15 stang. The only down side.

Every time I look up at my double length moon roof, I wish that would have been an option on the 15 GT PP. I also love the ACC which I think I could have gotten.

The mustang is a premium and I think I got everything but recaro seats and ACC. I didnt want the recaros but now that I've had ACC in the truck I really wish I would have gotten it. OH OH! And Sync3. Way better than Sync2.

Mine is a weekend, fair weather, car show secondary car. My Mazda takes care of the rest, although I would consider an F-150 for a daily to have some extra utility. The new 2018 with a 10-speed and probably the 3.5L Ecoboost would do just fine.

Of the 10 Mustangs I've owned over the past few decades, only one was a fair weather car ('95 Cobra).

Current '16 GT works well, even in Winter (Wet/Snow mode in Premium model + DWS06 tires a great help).

I love the Snow/Wet mode. Mine doesn't really see much weather but that mode works surprisingly well even with the procharger on it. It really takes the bite off.

Yup, it works well.

We just received half a foot of snow, and after the plows went through I took a 5 minute ride to the store. Car got around well enough, but some 4x4's were impatient that it took a few seconds to get going. lol

Daily Driver for now. My previous DD car (Fourth Generation Firebird) has become my project car.

For me it's my business car. I work out of the house and do not drive it everyday, but I just put 1000 miles on it this week driving for hours on end over the interstates in GA, SC and NC.

I have never daily driven my sporty cars year round. Been like for 30 years now.

When I was younger I'd buy a winter beater for the winter months and DD my sporty car during summer only.

These days I don't even do that. My wife and I share 2 dedicated daily drivers for year round and only use the GT or convertible BMW during fair weather days April - October.
