I will have another look at it in a month or so see if it is wet again and see if there is anything better i can do for the long term

I filled it with the dielectric grease and this time it was dry. But still filled with grease, no water. Dealer said they always change the motor and add the grease and they don't come back.

HI All,

My drivers window is playing up. Seems to happen more after the car has been stood for a while. I open the door and the window drops as it should, close it again but it program go back up. It will stay like the for a bit them it will all of a sudden go back up? Window works on the switch no problem. anyone else had this?

Had this happen to my passenger side window for a very long time, it got to the point where it wouldn't even go up. I tried everything from re calibrating to checking the bcm. It came down to just having to switch the window motor out. I never take my cars to the dealership so I bought the window motor from ford and did it myself. Super easy, take door panel off, and there was like 4 or 5 bolts i had to take off and i slid the motor down and changed it out with the new one. No programing needed, and it was working like new

I just had this issue last week and took the door panel apart to change the speakers. I cleaned the pins and used dielectric grease in the plug. Works perfectly now.

I get this at random on very hot days. Never happens when rolling windows down, only rolling them up.
