im PRETTY sure this was the one. i started having some pretty serious valve spring issues at 18 psi so it was falling off pretty early.

cool so we can add higher pressure valve springs to that coyote prep thread.

It's the stock pulley. If a paxton 2200 is 1400 cfm and JPC made 1032 rwhp with it, I'd think a d1sc which is also 1400 cfm should be able to break 900's right?
i believe that was the boss 302 car

that same car made under 900 on evos dyno.......

you have to take dyno numbers with a grain of salt sometimes...

That's why I'm hoping with E85, GT350 manifold, stage II intercooler, and everything else done to the motor that she'll hit 1000. If I don't it'll be really close I'm sure. I don't plan on overspinning the blower but I might go to 7600 engine rpm which should put me at 62320 blower rpm if I'm only a couple ponies short just to get the hero run in.

i don't forsee 1000 rwhp on the d1,

i'd step up to an f1 for that

I plan on finding out for sure one way or another. I want to see the max power out of a D1. I may upgrade to a F1 head unit later but I worry about the crank with the bigger blower...

Might be able to squeeze the last few out of a D1X. Can't confirm, but may be able to upgrade to D1X from D1SC for much cheaper than completely replacing the blower to the F series.

I think I've seen somewhere Procharger hasn't offered X upgrades on existing blowers yet, but maybe ProChargerTECH can verify?

yes the aluminator comes with boss 302 springs which are what stock 15+ heads have already. dont forget the 15 heads flow better than 11-14 and also have larger cams. so you would want more spring regardless as the aluminator was about done at 18PSI and 7000.

i really dont see 1000 on a d1 happening but give it all shes got. then go to the F1a
i made 1020 on a F1A with the same car. and then later 1000 through a TH400 and the F1X and now going to 1200 through the th400 with the new engine and f1x

What's the largest head unit that still fits with the stage 2 kit?

thats a tricky question.

i PERSONALLY would not go any bigger than a F1A.

i went to the X on my 12 and its a whole other animal. it broke damn near everything .

Well I think that I gave her all she's got. I think the final numbers will be 934hp/700tq - 7500rpm and about 18 pounds. Tuner is cleaning up the driveability and then I'll get a graph up.

D1X is going to be the one to get over the 1000whp hump.

Yeah I just wanted to max the D1SC to see if it could get over the 1000whp threshold. It just can't move enough CFM at max blower speed. I may do F1A-94 next year and pulley it over 20 pounds.

on any real dyno , i would not expect to see 1000 wheel on the d1, you need a bigger head unit

possibly the new d1x, maybe, we'll see
