I think that cooling in the lumbar area is coming from the seat bottom some how. There's nothing in the seat back to cool that low looking at the diagram. It should be cooling towards the middle/upper back where the duct is focused, then a little spread throughout those perforations.I ran the cabin A/C for a few minutes before activating the seat cooling. Turning the seat cooling to max chilled the seat bottom, and gently cooled the lower part of the seat back. But I did feel any noticeable cooling in the upper half of the seat back. At least the perforations in the upper portion allowed some air movement.
