Yeah, I didn't think about that.
It doesn't get that cold down here, even though we did get snow twice this past winter.
I'm about 100% sure I won't be driving my mustang in anything below 32* anyways. lol
Just remember it is not if you drive in 32degree weather but if the car will see it. If you park in an unheated garage or outside coolant needs to be able to withstand the temperature it is going to be in even if not running.

I am roughly 75/25% , and the tester tells me I am good to -4.

For $5 an antifreeze tester is a good investment.

Figured I would bring this back from the dead. I checked mine again since it has gotten sub freezing recently and my tester is only showing good to 0 F. Doesn't seem to add up with the amount of distilled water I added this summer. Going to go grab a new tester and see if mine is just reading off (it is pretty old). Hopefully it is just a false reading, if not will have to drain some coolant and add straight anti-freeze to get the freezing point lower.

3/4 of a gallon. I topped mine off with Distilled water.

Zero degree freezing point is probably right, The Motorcraft coolant is rated for -30 at a 50/50 mix so adding more water is going to raise the freezing point.

Like SVT Daddy posted, I've ran a 75/25 mix in my 3v and dropped a sample bottle of it in a -20 freezer and it started icing up but didn't go completely solid. So unless it gets to the teens and lower where you're at you're likely fine.

It was down in the single digits last week for two nights and it held up fine. I did go start it the first morning and let it run up to operating temp just to make sure all the coolant was able to flow around some. It normally doesn't get into the teens very often, but this is looking to be a colder than normal winter here. Forecast is calling for -10 this week, so I will probably suck out the reservoir and refill with straight antifreeze then run to circulate. I am gonna guess the reservoir will hold a qt or so which should drop me back below zero. That little bit should give me peace of mind, last thing I want is a cracked head or block ;-(

Please let me know if NAPAs ORANGE coolant is OK for my 2015 V6 Mustang. of course it says for GM vehicles but I believe it is also correct for the FORD (its OAT). These are the specs on the jug, could not find these on the FORD. NAPA= ASTM D-3306 & ASTM D-4340
THANKS!

According to SVT daddy motorcraft is HOAT not OAT.
So I wouldn't use it.
