My radiator exploded a couple of weeks ago. I got the new one installed and thought the coolant that got everywhere would burn off or evaporate.

I'm still getting the smell and can't find a source. No coolant is leaking, oil looks good, no smoke, no bubbles. Nothing to indicate it's a head gasket.

I get the smell when the engine is hot, thoughts?

Since you obviously didn't get rid of ALL coolant (almost impossible), you'll have to wait until it stops smelling. Not sure how long that will take, but in the mean time, just keep an eye on your reservoir, to make sure there are no leaks anymore. Hopefully somebody else will have better news for you :D. Good luck.

Coolant smell lasts a long time. Trouble is every time you smell it its like an alarm goes off in your head. Had a heater core implode in a car once...had to replace the carpet because no matter what I did I couldn't get the smell out of the car.

Sucks, makes my stomach hurt everytime I smell it. Thinking about taping some stuff off and hitting it with the pressure washer.

You can flood the area where the coolant went with a hose no nozzle.

How many miles have you put on it since then? Like mentioned above, its going to last quite a while. Going to need to actually put some miles on it to get fully burn off.

Couple hundred miles maybe. I've had a box fan on the engine for a couple days now. Garage doesn't smell anymore. Faint smell from the engine bay.

My water pump blew about a month ago. Around 600 or so miles, I can still smell coolant. When I get time I’m going to wash everything under hood.
