Convertble jacking rails

I also have the rails and the 2-point G-Trac brace. Excellent quality
This is the one on the bottom of the K-frame, right? Did you notice any reduction in cowl shake? Do you have a strut tower brace as well? I am planning on putting on a tower brace first, which I think will help.

Not a bad price for the g-trac brace. Might have to give it a try. Have you done a Steeda sway bar?

This is where you may have to grind. Notice the front bolt hole does not align.

Same exact problem that I had. I also believe the variance is more likely in the rail manufacture. I still have them sitting in my garage soon to go on Marketplace, I gave up on grinding. I'm going to order the JM, which I think is a better design, anyway.

I just installed these on my 2021 GT. They were a direct bolt on with no modifications. Installation took about 30 minutes. My observations are:.
  • I drove the car up on some 2x6s to get another 1.5" of clearance.
  • There is a helpful you tube video showing the convertible installation
  • The passenger side rail is slightly shorter than the drivers side
  • I used both existing front bolts on both sides because they were longer than the supplied bolts
  • The fit was good. The passenger side rear most bolt was a tight fit and once aligned all was well.
  • I did not have to shave any body seam sealer.
Overall really happy with the product.

Not that I anticipate ever using the scissor jack, curious if any jacking rails still allow clearance of the pinch welds to use the jack in the event of a flat tire.

i was wanting to get the jacking rails .. and i saw replies n pics of having to modify the screw holes... are the holes that off???

Just installed Steda jacking rails on my 23 convert. No problems at all. Was able to install them laying on the garage floor. No modifications needed to the rails.

The factory-produced holes might slightly change over time - as a result ... the holes widen or change position over time.

Our template and manufacturing procedure are specifically calibrated for the car we conducted tests on & continue to track as we do these installs regularly.

As the manufacturing process progresses from the original equipment manufacturer's (OE) standpoint, tolerances and minor modifications to their manufacturing process may evolve over time - hence causing minor modifications to be done to our parts.

As the customer above mentioned, his fit perfectly but on some, minor adjustments need to be made.
