Clutch stuck halfway

Hey guys, I'm driving and I'll press the clutch to realize it is getting stuck halfway up, it happened twice or maybe three times already in 2 weeks. A light tap under the clutch pedal brings it back up. Any ideas?:frusty:

I pulled mine out a while ago. Its great

I heard ford wont cover it under Warrenty with clutch spring out

how many miles do you have. Did they say it was from abuse?

20k bought it with 10k they said "abuse" or somthing

My mustang has been a money pit ever since I lowered it . I know someone who's clutch just went out at 5k miles . This is probably my last mustang or ford product

if you buy a used Mustang, its probably best to assume the clutch will need to be replaced and price the car accordingly.

What other repairs did you have to make?

Not sure about the clutch, but the the V6 uses a differently designed flywheel which has been reported on this board to fail.
