13,500 miles into my 16' GT. Zero complaints I love the car. Randomly this morning I shifted at 5k and the clutch pedal got stuck 3/4 in burning up my clutch in the process. I had 90k miles on my 12' GT and barely experienced this twice. Although it was thoroughly engaged at least. Some brief research tells me the spring is an issue although that has only to do with feel not engagement.. waiting for my dealer rep to get back (if they will even do anything) but in the mean time.. wondering if anyone else has had this problem.. i could not replicate it. My smooth engagments seem notchier now..

Heat build up can also cause it. My friend had two Turbos under the car and from heat radiation, his tranny would get hot and clutch would get stuck. I *think* the hydraulic get messed up from the heat build up.

100% stock right now. I performed a couple shifts beforehand with no issues at all.

This happened to me a couple weeks ago too and I wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary. Smelled like ass for a while too from the burned clutch.

A sticky / stuck clutch master cylinder can cause this. It was a big problem on the manual G37S. Ask me how I know lol.

Having the clutch fluid changed frequently would avoid this but it may not be the problem in your case. How many miles on your car?

Has the clutch returned from the floor or is it still stuck?

Had something similar happen a couple of times, but the pedal got stuck about 3/4s of the way up. Hard to get it in and out of gear, especially reverse, and this was after I removed the OEM clutch assist spring. I could pop it back all the way out with my foot.

I installed Steeda's clutch assist spring and haven't had a problem since then.

Not sure why this happened, or if the Steeda spring cured it. But again, no problems after I did install it.
