All, what are you using to bring back the factory fresh look on the composite splitter, aero bits and under hood parts to get the look without becoming a slimey dust magnet? Sorry if this has been said, I looked around a little :fistbump:

Love this stuff for post-washing vinyl shine..

And if you REALLY wanna give vinyl some love, go with Carpro Perl in a 50/50 solution. I use this at the same strength on the tires and, it's great on any vinyl, too.

There are a couple of ways to address this, although the cleaning and prep would be the same across each option.

Clean these trims with an All-Purpose-Cleaner, then wipe them over generously with a prep spray such as CarPro Eraser or Gyeon Prep.

Now, I have tried more trim dressings and coatings than I care to admit to. The best and easiest short term product would be 303 Protectant. This product leaves a non-greasy finish that is dry to touch and will also offer some UV protection. You will need to apply this product, and others like it, on a regular basis due to it's water based formulation. I use a small microfiber pad to apply 303.

As you can see, 303 deepens the appearance but without looking glossy.

Next would be a product like CarPro Reload. This will last about 6 months and like 303, is dry to touch, offers UV protection and has a matte finish.

From there, next would be a Ceramic coating for trims. I have coated my lower black unpainted plastics/splitters with CarPro DLUX. This product will need a more careful application but has the potential to last up to two years. Again, a matte finish and offers UV protection.

Goose: I've done the ceramic coating to the black aero and while it helps a little during washing, the CarPro product I used just doesn't leave the black with the deeper, slightly glossy finish I prefer. 303 is good between washes as well but I don't think it lasts as long as VRP or Perl.

Amazing stuff. Much better at restoring factory look than the more well known name brands (Back to Black, etc.). But can't vouch for longevity. I've only used it when time to sell a vehicle. The last can I bought did NOT have that labeling that says "lasts for weeks". Does imply not something that will last for months or more.

Trim slime will give you a darker look, but ceramic coating is once and done! It also makes cleanup easier, especially with bug splatters and all the rubber marks I get at the track.

That pearl is stupid expensive, but it sure is nice. A little goes a long way. Tires look fantastic. Bonus, it won't leave a bunch of black residue on your cover

You hit all the points, Tom..and Perl is still my top-of-the-line choice for tires and black vinyl but despite the price, as you said, you can make it go a long way.

AMEN to no black marks on the inside layer of the cover.
