Wow the brakes leave quite a bit of dust on the wheels. The wheels are ceramic coated but in my past experience with gloss black wheels they scratch and swirl very easy. I’m guessing the finish on these GT500 wheels are no different then any other gloss black wheel so any tips on minimizing any scratches and swirls would be much appreciated? Just power washing and a wheel cleaner is not getting it done so I am going to have to scrub the wheel.

You can also try wheel wax. Chemical guys has a couple options. They’ll help prevent the wheel dust from sticking and make it easy to wash off.

Thanks for the tips folks. Are you using any type of brush or wash mitts on your wheels that don’t scratch them up?

I like to disassemble things.
I need to get to work on the wheel roller stand I've been wanting to do. Light so you can set on a table that will allow rotating the wheel and detailing it to your hearts content without having to bend over. I've yet to see one I liked. Some billet, anodized side rails and a pair of tricked out rollers to set the tires onto.

Different manufactures have them but Wheel Woolies

Some people like these I believe they can be bent to get behind the rim

Wheel ceramic coating. I use this also.

I'm with you Tob. I bought the one that was mentioned on the forum and it's too narrow for our wheels. I'm ready to give it away.
I noticed that. I spoke to George at MGW about working with me on one. May have to get more serious about it...

What are using to clean the face of the wheel?

Wheel Brush
microfiber towel
Sponge

I’ve jacked up gloss black rims before and definitely don’t won’t to do it on these bad boys.

OP I disagree with some here. Think of your black wheels as a softer more scratch prone paint than your cars body paint. fyi I've ceramic coated a ton of cars over the years and am a big detail guy.

Use the softest microfiber you can find. Check out https://theragcompany.com/

I use these in 16x16. Buy at least 10-15 of them. Anything bigger may touch the ground and you don't want that. Extremely soft towels.

You already have them ceramic coated so that's good.

I can vouch for P&S Brake Buster too. Stinks but no biggie.

Do you apply P&S to a dry wheel or wash it off and then apply?

Everyone has a little different. My process:

I get it wet, then spray the wheels and tires down while wet with BB, let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then use your wash bucket that has car wash soap in it and microfibers to clean off. Easy
