I'm 69 and old school. I despise what I call spiderweb wheels. I prefer Cragars but unfortunately they don't make them for anything with a wheel larger than 15". Has anyone had them chromed and if so, who and how much was it ?
With them being a 5 spoke I think they would look cool chromed. Not Cragar, but close. I stole the base wheel pic from another thread. :D The 'Cuda is mine and has Cragar's.

Here’s what they will look like. I like it.

Ps. I love your Cuda. Classic muscle!!
These chromed wheels do look good in the photo, however not sure what they’d actually look like on a Mach. i Took chrome wheels off my truck because on these new larger diameter wheels, the chrome takes over and that’s all I saw versus what the 15” wheels look like on your beautiful Cuda. Have you considered a gunmetal color to tame down the chrome a little? In the end all that matters is that you like the result!

Hi there. I am not quite at your level of expertise in life with about 30 years less than you, however, I grew up out in the garage with my Dad and he's of your age. We built cars and drove them and shined them together. I also like some Chrome, and I went off the rails and as @Coastal-Mach said in their post below, I did have a second set of Ford HP wheels sent out, prepped, chromed, and then sent back to me.

Please see this post as well as this thread for more information and details and pictures of mine. I'll also post some more here, cuz why not.

However, I am not using them as it just wasn't physically in the flesh what I had going on in my mind. That said, I have come up with a game plan that every set of tires, I'll alternate back and forth and just go from there.

If you're interested in the shop, pricing, shipping, and how everything took place, please send me me a message or reach out!

I'd be careful with those companies that do these types of things en masse. I've researched extensively on this topic, as we know, and settled that if you're going to do something such as this, you may as well do it right. The wheels and company I went through strip the wheels completely, prep them fully, and triple-coat the chrome on them. These other places I'm sure is probably "fine", but I wanted only the best. Also, that wheel above is not exactly the Mach wheel posted above.

Nobody had the Mach HP wheels already finished, so I bit it and paid to be the one-off set, until someone else does it as well, if ever. Who knows.
Wonder if the chrome would “stick”?
Read above this to see my concern with the chrome 'sticking' to wheels if they're not prepped properly. That's why I went out on my own, plus, nobody was doing the Mach HP wheels. The closest we found was the platinum wheels that wheel replicas had available at one time (staggered is sold out) though it looks like there's still a set or more in 19x10 square.

Now THATS what I'm talking about !! :D
Me too. I still like shiny chrome.

I actually love the aesthetics of the stock wheels on my '18 GT Premium. They just aren't wide enough.
