Literal slow boat from China, eh? Can you imagine the look on the face of the guy who coined that phrase if he was around today?
From what I read some import/export officer screwed up the paperwork. It was a 1 letter difference on a form and the whole world freaks out over containers of tires.

Anyways, this thread has been hilarious.😁

Clearly they just need to set up a factory in Mexico (or shell company) and drive them across the South border instead of trying this ship to Port of LA thing.

It works great for fentanyl

To be honest, if you get on it really hard there is no tire that won't spin. These do work great on the street however, and will allow you to get on it much harder than most other street tires will. I have two dedicated sets (8) of wheels and tires. I run the rii in the summer heat and the Continental ExtremeSport 02 all other times.

this is really great info!!!! so would it be safe to say once my street tires (ps4s) get bad enough i should replace them with the rii? have any issues with spinning them when u get on it?

This has been an interesting read on tires. For those that have run these, what are your thoughts on the Atturo AZ850? You talk about cheap, these are them. Not sure how "grippy" they are but they could be a good street tire. @shogun32

They will be at least as disappointing as any other low-end performance tire like a Sumitomo or Chinese random

The hellcat guys seem to like this tire, same with some camaro owners.

At 100 a piece I'm going to try a set.

Thanks Dan,
I read the same with the Dodge guys. I'm thinking about getting a set as well, and for a street only application it might not be a bad tire.

If not it might be a good HPDE tire. Cheap and might last the weekend.

It's a lot of fun passing people when I'm on shit tires. LOL

I would try the Atturo drag radial. But the regular tire is going to be like the MT Street Comp (or even worse)

That will be a $715 + tax expirement, compared to the Nitto rii at $800 + tax for a pair in 305/35r20 size. I would be interested to hear someone compare the two.
