As bad as it sounds I just want to mod my car for the sake of modding my car, don't ever plan to track it and just do spirited street driving.

Also don't plan on lowering the car. Need some diy mods I can do just to make the car "handle" better. I say "handle" because it feels fine to me as is, but I want to work on my car more lol.

I plan to whipple it in the future, so I guess I could look for the best mods for hard straightline pulls? Both steeda and bmr have so much stuff it hurts my head researching. I know when I go whipple it'd be good to upgrade driveshaft, clutch, and axles

Cradle lockout and IRS braces should be easy install.

First and foremost, thank you for using air quotes correctly, hahahhah! And I get it. I do mods for the sake of mods. It's the drive, not the destination. I plan mods all the time to be able to work on my car in hope that I'm actually making it better in the process. As for affordable suspension mods that actually made a difference, the following come to mind;

sway bar end links
vertical links
subframe bracing

This is where I started and ejoyed every one of them. In fact, the only other thing I've done is springs and sway bars (N-5700-M kit). (I take that back; I did SPC camber and toe arms also) I will do no more. Not messing around with any bushings or components that may induce NVH, but that's just me. As I've gotten older, I've done a much better job of balancing the mods I choose against the reality of how I plan to use the car. And not that it's any slouch to begin with, but you get it....

Steeda IRS Braces are one of the easiest installs with some of the best bank for the buck!

Is there a version of the IRS brace that works on a convertible? Thanks.

Unfortunately, No - there is extra bracing & further modifications that would need to be done - other parts of the Stop the Hop Kit do fit.

Best Regards,

DIY alignment is low cost. So is adding negative camber by slotting the strut.

Thanks all, I think I'm going to go with the FRPP track handling package since after installing my new wheels I definitely need to lower the car lol. And would rather have a full set that's designed to work together than trying to piece together a bunch of different parts and make a frankenstang  after that I'll see what needs to be done

Well, that went from cheap DIY mods to a full-blown suspension build, lol.

Let me know if I can help put together a similar package with potential Memorial Day Savings.

So I’m assuming this FRPP track handling package is better suited for track use correct?

I've been doing research and seems it's fine for daily driving. The street handling package is basically the GT performance pack 1, and if the whole car's being ripped open I'd want something more substantial lol.

Thanks, still doing research but after installing my new wheels I realized how big the wheel gap is, thus leading me to now researching springs and good parts that work well with them

You want better handling or straight traction? You can’t have both.

Handling=Wide low profile tires, stiff suspension, aggressive camber negative angle.

Forward traction= None of the above.

I won't be supercharging for a while so for now more handling focused, but eventually I'd be moving towards the forward traction route
