Did you add both front and rear?
What were the big differences you noticed when adding them?
Thank you
Added both front and rear. Also the rear and front strut bars helped too. But regarding the sway bars I mainly felt improvement with body roll, car responding better when you make a turn and overall a more connected feel with less body flex. I did not notice any increase in NVH with the Steedas sway bars most of my NVH came from the lower springs/shocks and 20s. Hopefully someone here with a S550 can chime in since my experience was with a S197 with an inferior suspension.

I removed my factory front sway bar when I installed the Steeda drag race rear sway bar. Before removing the front bar, I had been running with the passenger end link removed (per Steeda’s recommendation). The bar, plus all associated hardware shaved 17.3 lbs off of the front of the car.

The Steeda rear drag race sway bar feels 2-3X heavier than the factory rear bar.

What was the reasoning to remove the front sway bar by Steeda’s recommendation?

They didn’t recommend removing it, but they did recommend disconnecting one end link to allow for better weight transfer to the rear of the car. I rode with it like that for a long time until a few weeks ago. I figured it might be even better transfer with the entire bar removed.

You are correct in that he is currently setting up for street duty, but he also said that he will be dialing it in for drag racing soon.
10-4 I missed that.

@beefcake are coilovers hard on the shock mounts? I’ve heard of people breaking them. Just curious as to what, if any reinforcements are needed, so that they don’t tear away from the car’s body? Thanks
in general, have not seen issues with that with coilovers
