Ceramic coating

For those of you who are thinking about a ceramic coating definitely do it if you have the budget for it. I got the Fusion Plus from Xpel. I thought the Mach turned out awesome and it was worth every penny.

I haven't used the 3.0 version yet, but I did use the original CQuartz UK. It was a great product, got about 1.5 years out of it before it started to show signs of weakening. It was on a truck that sat outside in the GA sun year round, so I personally think that was pretty good.

I've swapped over to Adam's Graphene and it has lasted about 3 years and still going on my wifes Expy. Shine is about equal, it doesn't shed water quite as well but still very good. at about 25 or so you just watch it fly off.

On a budget or prefer DIY, Armor Shield IX works great. I'm at two years since I coated mine and it still beads like it was just coated. My 2011 Taurus is over four years since coating and needs to be redone, but it was good up through three years. And their customer service has been outstanding!

I’m happy with the Adams Advanced Graphene product I applied last year…still shedding water well while providing some pop.

My Mustang has Xpel Fusion because the PPF installer used it and it seems fine. I've used Car Pro Cquartz Uk 3.0 and it is good, but just this weekend I paint corrected and coated my F-150 with something new. Gyeon Evo MOHS is awesome, the truck looks great and it's the easiest to apply and remove traditional ceramic coating I've ever used. A novice could easily apply this one.

Looks fantastic. I am a huge fan of Ceramic coatings. I got DPC T9 installed on mine and am very happy so far. Has only been on about a month but been washed a couple times, sheds water like crazy and added a ton of gloss. Mine is a garage queen so I hope it lasts the full advertised length of 9 years.

This one is 8 years and each year I go back and they test the mil thickness and do a refresh coat so it builds up over time. I would use these guys again

hey joker question for you. I live in Vegas also and was looking to get this done but haven’t found a good shop to get this done. There’s a place by rauders Practice . Ceramic pro but email said they have to send out of town to get done. Any help is appreciated

Go to Xpel on Sunset and Arville. Ask for Tim. I dropped the car off and it was ready in 1-2 days.

That's cool. Yeah mine has a yearly maintenance wash included. I do however top offl with a SI02 topper every other wash or so to keep a sacrificial layer on top to protect the coating. That worked really well for my F150 and it only had a 2 year coating that was still performing well after 4 years. Kinda therapy for me, I wash and clean every weekend if the weather is fit.
