Pointless. Aluminum blocks are making 2000 HP. I think one is making 3k HP. This is another one of Fords marketing gimmicks.

I'd rather take a Predator block and sleeve it for that kinda money. Save 100lbs of weight and won't see a lick of difference if under 2000hp.
Unless your car is wheelie happy, then this is the way to go. Lots of Coyotes in Fox bodies.

One thing about this iron block, 500 to 800 horsepower, with today's oil a person would never wear it out. Iron gets better with age. My parents had 66 Galaxie 500 with 390. I learned how to drive it when I was 18 and it was handed to me. Never wore that motor out. Wish I still had it.

That block in a work truck with 450 to 500 horsepower broke in right from the start? A man could pull and work for the rest of his life with it. Just do regular maintenance. With today's technology it would last a long time. Forged crank, forged rods, forged pistons and four bolt mains, it would be almost foolproof.

Oh, well, that's even better! A tow truck pulling a race car, well there you go. Cheaper gas and maintenance than diesel. I would think anyway. If it was a older truck, no emissions, then even better. I did not know how many main bolts Coyote had. That's a serious block in the right hands and the environment.

I would like to have that block in a 68 to t0 70s model F-150 with 9 inch rear and manual transmission. That would be an awesome rig. The right gears in the rear end pull anything. My uncle had a F-150 like that. It was awesome. 390 manual trans it was one awesome work truck.

Ford should just sell us a shortblock sleeved predator with some forged internals. They have purchasing power and could give us a well priced rig whilst still paying for their EV loses hehe
