Are you still acquiring wheels, Tom? I saw another set pop up here locally about a week or so ago. Not sure if they’re still available but I can look if interested.
Not really. I've been busy. A backlog of wheels to repair. I bought one set that was badly damaged and still haven't had time to fix them.

I keep letting them go on ebay. The deals are there, you just have to have the time and patience to do a repair. Over time, anyone can have a complete set for not much $$

MMR just posted a set for sale on FB around 6K with new tires. and they posted another set about a month or so ago for 4k

@Shelbeast which shop did you find? If you dont mind the drive, I would check out Elite Imports in Ft Meade or Kinetic Autoworks in Millersville, MD

Edit to add: maybe it’s still available? (Mark is the owner of MMR)

Just about every mobile tire installer I've used will put new tires on CF wheels. The guy I use now spends about half his week at Rafa Racing swapping tires, and has walked me through the process. It's effectively the same as he does on my Apex wheels. Basically if you just give a shit about your job, there should be no issues.

Personally, if a shop is unwilling to changed them, at least they have the good sense to know they aren't competent enough to do the job. And even with nice aluminum rims, I wouldn't take mine there to be replaced.

Yeah, the GT350 wheels are going way cheaper than GT500. I'd like to get even a bit beat up GT500 CF set for track use, and keep my "newish" stock CF wheels for the street.
