Wanting to buy a carbon fiber cold air intake. Looked at Kong but they always seam to be out of stock. Probably going to go with SPE. Can anybody that’s bought one drop some pictures installed and how are you liking it? Regrets? Worth it? Thank you!

So does removing the lid off the OEM intake. VMP did some testing and got big results just from a 30 second free mod.

If you tune, and Ford finds out, your warranty will be voided. Thats why I don't tune.

Right, that's why I changed my post. I thought that run from VMP was with their tune and they were trying to push their product, but after watching the whole video it was on the stock tune with just the lid off.

Im gonna remove my lid and see how it feels. I don't drag race or sit in traffic, so heat soak shouldn't be a problem.

Nope, the filter is attached with a band clamp directly to the tube. No issue taking off the top, it then just becomes a GT350 intake.
