If Ford dealerships and most tire places are not touching Carbon Fiber wheels, how are owners replacing the tires?

Thanks,
RJ

RAJ: Brian's reply is right on. It is honestly no big deal if the operator of the Hunter is experienced. The wheels are more than stout enough but the operator has to protect the surface and, not do something aggressive that might crack the CF.

Odds are as long as you're not in a rural area, you'll find a shop that will duit. I found one in this little burg and the tire swap was a piece of cake for the seasoned operator. He had all four done in about ten minutes.

Used the same outfit after purchasing a set of Signatures and now the OEM wheels are in the Signature boxes upstairs. One of these days I'll get around to removing a few spots on the plasma coating and put them up for sale. I'm seriously OG and much prefer light-colored wheels over black.

Try @Discount Tire , they were happy to assist finding one of their locations with the proper equipment and experienced personnel on CF wheels for my GT350R. Highly recommend.
Thanks! I found a local touchless shop, so waiting on email response.

Thanks! I opted for a local guy to seal and clear my CF wheels rather than do them myself. Will keep pristine and roll with my Sig Wheels. My girl misses the CF ones.

Saving the CF wheels for someone else? They are easily repairable. On top of that, you see them on ebay all the time used. Not that rare.

Had the tires removed to repair to my set. Either selling or storing. I do see a great set on eBay for 17k.

Buy them with slight damage and repair them. You can buy them for about 1k each (ish). That way you can run around and not worry about it. That's what I do.

Find a shop that works on exotics and high end cars. I lucked out with a Porsche shop nearby, who regularly works on Ferraris, Lambos, etc.

Are you still acquiring wheels, Tom? I saw another set pop up here locally about a week or so ago. Not sure if they’re still available but I can look if interested.
