I guess it’s normal, but I don’t know why it does it. My 2022 GT makes noise when it’s parked. If I’m working in the garage I can hear it several times a day.
When I open the door, it sounds like relays or something like that, under the hood and toward the back of the car. It makes that same noise seemingly randomly when parked. Key is in the cabinet

Mine does too. When opening the door and randomly when sitting and key isn't near car... Very strange. Not too worried, it's under warranty lol.

Mine does it too.

I always assumed is was the fuel pump retracting a little fuel from the lines.- Or when getting into the car, it priming the injectors with higher pressure. But I have no proof that this is actually what is happening, 100% a guess

it s has to do with the fuel system and EPA BS. all newer cars do it and you read this on every forum. Totally normal.

Is yours 401-A or whatever latest code for premium pck is? Then it's the modem. These cars are only truly off when you pull the battery out.

Edit

and yes its is normal operation.

Perfectly normal. Mine does same.

Fuel priming, self-checks and reporting back to Ford are the main reasons.

I can trigger mine (the solenoid noises) almost any time by:

1) opening the Driver's door 2) opening the Ford app and swiping down, as if to update status, 3) disconnecting/reconnecting the battery.

Otherwise, the car will perform randomly, when it sees the need to.

Skye is not a DD. I'm glad I wired in a tender and keep her on that.

I think one of the noises is the throttle body prepping for startup, but if you're just dinking around under the hood, it finally gives up and goes back to sleep. There's all sorts of whining and clicking going on the first minute after you wake it up.

I don’t remember my ‘16 V6 making a bunch of noise but my ‘22 GT does. I really noticed it as I was ceramic coating it on Friday. I think it was just begging me to take it for drive LOL.

I have noticed that. It always does it when I open the door and at random any other time. Seems like it is every 15 minutes or so. I hadn't thought about the FordPass App communicating with the mother ship. I have a tender on mine as well, glad I do. Mine goes into deep sleep mode within a few days usually even with the tender on, I guess that's why.

How's the ceramic coating look on the metallic Grabber Blue? I want to get mine done, will probably wait till spring when I have some extra cash. Mine is about ot go into hybernation for the winter soon, I will take her out a couple more times if the weather cooperates but otherwise won't go out with the summer tires. Will probably get some good all seasons next year so I can drive more off season.
