Is yours 401-A or whatever latest code for premium pck is? Then it's the modem. These cars are only truly off when you pull the battery out.
Edit
and yes its is normal operation.
Hello there fellows.
Car started to drive sluggish in low rpm range and hesitating on accelerating a few weeks ago. I checked belt, all vacuum lines, spark ignition and fuel system but couldn't find anything obvious. One thing I see in my forescan is the fuel trim levels and knock sensor values...
It's most likely your VVT solenoids. I have same exact issue, especially when running sport+ and track modes, car just rumbles randomly like its got comp cams... then goes to normal with minimal load and while driving.
That would mean cavitation, and lots of ruined engines since 5.0 come back in 2011. But that's not the case, so back to friction based phenomenon theory.
Sucks, but that was right thing to do given the situation. I'm thinking of getting craigslist beater, but with extra gas tax initiative to fund LA ev charge network even that may be a no-win move.
Having 10R80 blip throttle on downshift coming to a stop doesn't help it either. Especially if there is a FR-S or BRZ in next lane, I don't know what's the deal with that bunch but they aways seem to try and prove something.
But daily drive racer wannabes aren't the worst. Tesla jockeys yelling...
That's Porsche. A performance brand that made bespoke body platform for Panamra line to be another model in the lineup. S550 already exists and cannot be modified into full size 4 seat coupe.
Plenty of my18+ s550s here on the west coast. A few GT500s have been spotted in the past couple weeks. Oddly enough I only saw one Mach 1 so far. I'm sure they enjoy paying almost 6$ a gallon for 91 as much as I do.
Sounds like stream of consciousness, typed up by someone working for QA and being rushed or not really able to communicate clearly. AFAIK, If MIL is on there parameter(s) have grossly exceeded, ~20%, their norms so it's not preventing wear failure, it's reporting failure already happened.
What others said, plus if you are in doubt about your fuel system, just drive around and log the fuel rail and commanded pressures through OBDII logging. If it's around 50psi your ok. If it's sluggish off the line - a less easy thing to consider doing is checking injectors and vvti chains for...
70k for 5.0? Good luck.
Remainds me of 2013/14MY and how people were eager to pay extra for it after being told it was the last true v8 mustang gen by dealers...then s550 shows up.
Looks like you already decided there.
Comparing dct S5 to 6-speed GT is a bit odd to put it mildly. Before my PP1 transmission disintegrated and dealer did their best to ruin everything else while attempting to fix it, it never felt slow or sluggish. Normal to Track mode, summer to winter it...
Every car is different, so take it with a grain of salt. At just over 32k miles i have had:
Battery replacement (warranty)
4-wheel alignment and cracked rear driver wheel replaced (some psycho signaled right then threw her car into the carpool lane right were I was - hit/climbed devider wall...
