How's the ceramic coating look on the metallic Grabber Blue? I want to get mine done, will probably wait till spring when I have some extra cash. Mine is about ot go into hybernation for the winter soon, I will take her out a couple more times if the weather cooperates but otherwise won't go out with the summer tires. Will probably get some good all seasons next year so I can drive more off season.
It looks great! Gives it kind of a wet look and brings out the flake a bit. I think it shows off the different shades of blue depending on the light too. In shade or darker lighting it turns a little deeper blue then when the sun hits it the bright grabber color really pops. I did it myself (I already had a DA polisher, pads, etc.) so my only other cost was the ceramic coating kit plus my time. The Ethos 30ml kit is $100 and is very easy to do. Adam’s Graphene Coating is really easy to apply too, I helped my parents do their cars with that one. If DIY is an option for you.

DIY is an option. I have the tools just nervous about it not laying down right. Might give it a go at some point. I keep it clean and apply Bead Maker after each wash so it stays nice and slick most of the time.

It’s pretty easy. If you can apply sealants you can do a ceramic coating. They make them pretty fool proof these days. Just follow their directions and you should be good to go

I just bought a house near Knoxville. Moving from upstate NY I plan on using my car year round down there, LOL (weather permitting).

Shouldn't be a problem with good all season tires. We don't get much snow or freezing precipitation here as a rule. I live just across the Knox County line in Grainger county. There are exceptions of course but when we do it usually warms up and is gone within a few hours or at most a day or so. I fortunately have the luxury of having my mustang as a weekend toy. My daily driver is an AWD Mazda CX5. I do plan on getting all seasons when I wear out the factory summer Pirelli tires so I can feel more comfortable driving in colder weather.

Pics needed or the ceramic coating never happened! 🤣

I love Grabber Blue. Loved it back in 2017 when it was gloss, will probs love it even more as a new metallic paint. 💙

I really love the new metallic Grabber. It can change in different light. Mine isn't coated yet but I will soon.

I’m an idiot, didn’t properly read and didn’t post a picture of the actual coating. Here’s a picture of what’s left of the coating plus some of the other items used. Buff & Shine 50/50 urofiber pad is highly recommended. I used the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Pro 1 and Done polish, a great one step polish in my opinion.

Nah you read it correctly! I just wanted to see the car! 😏

Good to know on the product you used. I might have to give this a try on the cars. 👍

Car making noises in the garage is just her way of reminding you that she was not meant to be sitting in the garage…you know, like when you leave your dog in the kennel too long 😂

Metallic looks beautiful. Almost had this teal/sea foam blue shine to it. Wonderful color. Cool hood too
Thanks, it really is an awesome color. I was between GBM and Race Red. Glad I went with GBM. Have gotten tons of compliments. The hood vents are Air Design. Birthday present from my wife before I even had the car LOL.

It was a pretty easy application. I wanted to get a coating on before winter since I daily drive mine all year round. The local municipalities are not shy about using salt around here

They look great. Are they all actual vents or are some fake?
