How many tanks did you drive to get an average? One tank alone will be very inaccurate.
Mine is off every tank. Consistently 1.5-2

I got my 2018 to work before. Here is how I did it:
Turn on the key but do not start the car. (press "Start button")
Put the display in the mode where it is blank.
Hold the "OK" key and start the car.
When the "Engineering Test Mode" shows up release the "OK" button.
Use the up/down arrows until the AFE Bias shows up.
Press the "OK" key and then use the up/down buttons to adjust the Bias.
When you have what you want then hit the "OK" button to save it and you're done.
That is what I remember. If it doesn't work, don't shoot me. I'm just the messenger.

Yes I have the digital dash. My car is a GT premium with the premium package. It has the performance package with active exhaust. I don't know if there are options that affect this setup. But it works on my car. As you adjust the bias you can actually see your miles per gallon change at the same time just above that. So if you happen to have a typical MPG error in your dash at this time and you have calculated the correct value you can adjust the bias until it reads the correct value

This is awesome info! I've been tracking my mileage since I got the car - a habit I got from driving a Honda Fit for the last 11 years and the Scan Gauge II I used in that car would calculate mileage to within a very small percent error. It was really nice having a lot of confidence in how much fuel was in the tank AND how far it could take me in a pinch. The EBPP has been generally improving the error since the first tank, and is around 5-6% now with a downward trend. I'd really like to cut that error in half and tweak it again later if needed.

Thanks!

Excuse me a minute while i bookmark this post.

Seriously, I've been trying to figure out how to get into the engineering test mode on the digital cluster since i got my '19 4 months ago! Thanks for this!

Adjusted mine as described above and it worked perfectly. Just filled the tank tonight, so we'll see how the new 6% lower calculation goes.

Great info for the 2018/19 owners who have the digital cluster and have been seeking how to enter the “Engineering Mode” !
