You need the car 25 feet from a wall or garage door to adjust properly. There is a small embossed circle about 1/4" in diameter on the headlight lens that you need to use to measure from the ground to that circle to mark that height on the wall or door you will use to adjust the headlight beam so it's at the correct level. Masking tape or duct tape can be used to give you a reference line on the wall or door to aim with.
