2018 Digital Dash MPG Reading

I might be missing it but I can’t seem to find a way for the digital dash to display the MPG readout like the non-digital dash does. It seems like it’s just not an option on the digital dash. That would be a pretty big oversight, but something they could add through updates later.

I have my MPG showing I just used the up button(on the right side of the wheel) and it showed up. You do have to hit it a couple of times

Same here, just scroll up or down on the steering wheel. You'll find this along with other display items to review, like tire pressure.

Hmm... i just can’t seem to find it. I can scroll through 3 screens but I don’t see MPG. I’m probably just being dumb.

Yeah, you can toggle through and get a mileage meter that shows current and average MPG. The catch is that it depends on what mode you're in. Different modes offer different displays to toggle through.

Navigating the different modes isn't always intuitive, which is annoying. Pressing the Pony button gets you stuck looking at your Pony preferences while toggling to your Pony mode allows you to view the normal information.

It looks like you have normal mode set but you have the Sport+ options for the center that you're toggling through. :\ There's a setting in there somewhere to select your display modes. I thought it just set the gauges but maybe there's a setting for which things are in the center.

Go down to the next set of buttons on your steering wheel and hit the lower left , that will get you into a seperate menu were the trip logs and mileage and other data.

Well, clearly they installed your dash upside down!


Seriously though, his the "gear" button on your steering wheel. Then toggle up or down to get to the fuel screen. It's that easy.

Does the 2018 Mustang Base Model Auto come with Drag Mode display if you order the Performance Package?

Only if you have the 401a option, which only comes with the gt premium, so no. It has drag mode when you toggle thru the modes it just wont have the digital display.
