Build Week 2/2/15

Great news. Can you give and dates or info that you received from COTUS or from Ford Customer Service on this forum?

The Ford Customer Service here informed me my car had left the QC hold and was awaiting shipment. After that COTUS started updating for me and had since then been updating. My original EDD of the 14th moved down to the 9th.

My salesman was tracking my car since it was traveling by train and he would tell me where the car was daily via text message.

COTUS update

Now that COTUS has finished its Sunday maintenance, it no longer even recognizes my vehicle. Why am I not surprised at this?

The same thing is happening to me. It doesn't recognize my vehicle either :headbonk:

My build week was 2/16, built on 2/17 and it is happening to me so i think it is happening to all vehicles.

It's not just you 2/2 week guys. My build was 2/27 and this morning my VIN is also invalid on both Cotus and QA Cotus. Sat MOrning 3/7 Cotus first showed 'In Transit'. BUt the date listed was 3/2. I know that date is erroneous.

Ditto, me too. Not recognized in COTUS anymore and my build week is 3/16.

Same here... COTUS doesn't recognize my car either. My build week is 2/2. I stopped by my dealership last night and they say it still has not been released from production which has been over a month now... OUCH! I have also made phone calls and sent emails to Ford. I have two case numbers with them. My dealer said they were glad i had done that. They will use those case numbers when they call Ford on Monday. My dealer even said they might order me a new one. If that's the case, i may wait for 2016 with SYNC 3.

Cotus must be down today. My build was 2/27 and now it says it can't find it. Crazy!

Just remember this same type of situation happens a lot more than you think. If you reorder you could end up being in the same situation again. I was able to get some real information form my dealer last week.thats all I was needing with the hold. If I didn't have a real delivery date then I would have bought one off the lot. But I really want the color I want so I'll wait. The longest your car should take is about 4 more weeks.

Heat shield is the issue and there's a team working on them. My dealer said ford would like all these cars to be ship by the end of this month. Ford wants there money believe me.

I haven't look at cotus since Thursday morning. I'm done with that crap. My dealer is going to keep me updated.
