I have a 2019 base model GT with the 4 piston calipers. Looking to upgrade to the 6 piston Brembos up front. I have the black accent package with 19x8.5 wheels. 2 questions.... will they clear the rims? And are they direct bolt ons or do I need anything else? Or any other caliper suggestions with the stock set up I have would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yes they'll clear and nothing else required other than the complete calipers and rotors.

Thanks, I upgraded the standard rotor to the cross drilled and slotted, I’m guessing I need a bigger rotor with the brembos, correct?

You need the 15" rotors meant for the 6 piston calipers, yes.

I would also like to know why it's such a bad idea. Sure, I understand there would be no gain in performance, because the rear brakes don't work as hard as the fronts, and besides, they're limited anyway. But would it actually do any harm?

Speaking of Brembos, I've got another question. My Mustang will have the Brembo brakes (in Europe they're apparently standard on any GT). I'm curious: what color are the calipers? I've seen pictures of them either red with white writing, or gray with red writing. Which one is standard?

Outside of the fact that they don't fit/wouldn't bolt up at all, having too much rear braking capabilities can lead to instability and then when the ABS kicks in, a significant loss of overall braking performance. What was said is equivalent to trying to fit parts from a Hyundai onto the car.

Correctly, absolutely TERRIBLE idea. And by the time you're done frankensteining that bullshit together, you might as well have just bought a real kit designed to actually fit and work. If not being cheaper. And less time. And less headaches...see a theme going here? Do it right the FIRST TIME AROUND.

All the UK cars I have seen (except Bullitt’s) are very dark grey / almost back calliper, in a satin finish with red text :like: Standard plated on the back.

Bullitt’s are gloss red all round :like:

If I remove my front Brembos, after reinstall do I have to bleed just the fronts or all four corners? Rear Caliper will not be removed.
