Hey brotha I just did this upgrade within the past month. I chose to go with new Lines and banjo bolts because I'm selling the ones attached to the 4 pistons and it was easy during the install to just disconnect the old and reconnect the new line at the hard point already attached to the new caliper. Splash shields part numbers are FR3Z2K004H and FR3Z2K005H,
oem banjo bolts are W712276-S430, and washers W712276-S430 (i went aftermarket washers cause they were significantly cheaper). Get your pins and anti-rattle clips from Optimum Performance ($17.99 for both sides).
Thanks. I'm on Optimum Performance now, it says only 1 kit required per car, is that right? I don't need to buy 2?

My big want is to replace the stupid rear setup. I don't care about 15" vs 15.5" rotors or them being 2 piece or not. Just tired of looking at the terrible rear setup Ford gave us.
Yeah, it seems like the only option for that is to go with the GT350 kit, or one of the after market kits like Wilwood. My brother-in-law just did the GT500 rear rotor conversion on his 13' Mustang which gives it a bigger rotor and looks a lot better, but they still have the same calipers. I really wish Ford made a better looking caliper for the rear, they look terrible, especially with the tiny looking rotors.

I hope at sometime in the future someone will find some cheaper calipers and make adapter brackets for us. Then just use a PP1 Brembo front kit and be done.

I'm surprised no one had made a cheap alternative to the rear brakes yet or at least a better looking caliper to bolt right on.

Thanks for all the help everyone. I ordered the calipers, rotors, dust shields, pins, and pads. I plan to re-use the stock brake lines and banjo bolts, so I should be good to go.

Brake balance trumps looks. Big rear rotors would need an even further forward hydraulic bias to not be unstable under hard braking.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I just wish they would make a better looking caliper style for the 2 pistons. I've thought about painting them but I'm not sure if that will improve looks or just make them more obvious. haha

Painting calipers sounds like a good way to make them run hotter. Metal to paint to air won't pass heat as readily as metal to air directly.

While a good point, I don't think this is an issue 99.999% of mustang owners will ever face. Top that with even high end calipers coming with paint on them makes me think its a non-issue all together.

What can I say? I'm always going to look at things like this with an eye toward tracking, or at least hard canyon or mountain driving with pads of lower temperature capability than track pads. I know that people have gotten caliper paint and powder-coat to discolor in track day use.

Trust me, I wish there were some driving roads like that near me. I am forcing myself to not be interested in open track style events but some awesome roads would be different all together.

+1 for this. I asked Baer if they had any calipers that'll bolt onto the rear with the stock 13" rotors or front ~14" rotors and they don't. They only have either a small drag brake kit or large kit that comes with15" rotors.
