We all know comp orange is the color that attracts the most attention lol I do love the blue just to many blue cars on the road . That ruby red is gorgeous as well. Hell all the colors are awesome I think .

Have to agree, for me Ruby and DIB are the two most stunning colors. All have their good traits, but when you see one in Ruby Red or Deep Impact it just pops.

Agreed! It was almost a coin toss for me, but the RR premium price and the fact that I was coming out of a Laser Red '95 GT and I have a Candy Apple Red '66 GT Fastback in the garage was my game changer to pick DIB.

I have noticed this too... Owned the car a couple of weeks now and have had many red light conversations with the car next to me My kids get a kick out of it... my wife sorta tolerates it

I was driving home from work the other night (around 9pm) and i was just cruising thru town kind of taking it easy. I get stopped at a light next to a random silver sedan, woman driving with the window cracked about halfway. When the light turned green i gave it some throttle, not too much tho, just enough to raise an eyebrow. Well, at the next light she rolls her window down and motions to me, then asks what kind of exhaust i had on there cause it didnt sound stock. I was dumbfounded at first lol. So i replied, its a 3" catback. Her response was "it sounds great! We just bought one and want to change the exhaust cause it's too quiet." Made my night that she even noticed and felt the need to ask me such.

Kids love this car, today a little boy on the back of a bicycle, was tugging at his dad's jacket and pointing. And the dad ... only gave it a glance to get him off his back. I do see a recurring theme here, kids love it, their dads "don't care". I think I am starting to understand why there is no car culture here. At some point in life people just loose interest? :shrug:

We did a family vacation to the Grand Canyon last month. This almost convinced me *not* to buy a Mustang. Why? I passed at least 100 Mustangs down there in the middle of nowhere. 98% V6 rentals. The good thing is that up here north, they are a *lot* rarer and I really don't see them that often.

This car is a huge neck snapper, I couldnt count how many people I see watching it, or pointing at it lol

The only thing I noticed though (at least in my area), is most people driving verts are women or older guys, and usually wont answer to my waves or when I flick the lights at them... The only ones who actually answered me were people driving the coupe...
Does that mean that the "true mustang passionates" drive a coupe ?!

But then again I do have wild Purple and Gold leathers and my plate is "Eye of the Tiger". Those Tiger students are nothing but loyal!

Lol, Yesterday on my way to target there was a guy in a white Nissan to my right, and a car going slow in front of me, So I went WOT and got in front of the white Nissan, Kept going WOT until the light and he pulled up next to me....

"Wow, Alright, I see you... Holy...." lmao!

He looked shocked at how quick the GT was =P!!

Not to hop off topic but are you going to still be in town? I'm finally heading back home after two weeks in Detroit.

Can't wait to see your vert in person man. I also love the reactions from this car as well. With not many 15 GT verts out in the area just yet from what I've seen, it definitely draws a good amount of attention. I always feel like all eyes are on me.

I was at mcdonalds getting an oreo frappe(they are amazing if you love coffee and oreos) and this guy walks out of mcdonalds and points and yells "that's a damn nice mustang man! DAMN NICE!". Then just turns around walks back before I could respond. Cracked me up.

I had a lady at the gas station yesterday tell me my Mustang was one of the prettiest colors she's ever seen on a car. I knew Ruby Red was the right choice (it was RR or DIB)
