No sightings in Louisiana

Can't wait to see your vert in person man. I also love the reactions from this car as well. With not many 15 GT verts out in the area just yet from what I've seen, it definitely draws a good amount of attention.

Spent a few days in Louisiana in and around LSU last week and didn't see another S550. My "Eye of the Tiger" vert was a big hit with the student body. As mentioned, lots of thumbs ups. But I had one negative comment...I stopped for the red light across from the Student Union and waited for 25 students to cross the street. The students walking next to my car noticed my Purple and Gold seats and mostly gave positive comments. But one student, wearing a Rutgers University shirt, noticed that it was a V-6 and shouts out loud enough for all the other students to hear, "I wouldn't drive a Mustang without a V-8".:tsk: So I yelled back, "You're walking kid...run along to your English Lit class now". He shot me the bird and 4 or 5 coeds booed him. It was a funny exchange. :cheers: Hope to see more Louisiana Mustangs next time I'm over that way.:ford:

I had a lady at the gas station yesterday tell me my Mustang was one of the prettiest colors she's ever seen on a car. I knew Ruby Red was the right choice (it was RR or DIB)

Maybe your Mustang reminded her of one of her favorite movie moments...the "Ruby Slippers" from The Wizard of Oz.

Went out with a friend last night with the top down and enjoying the breeze. While talking outside of the car, a homeless guy on the sidewalk said "that's a really nice ride brother!!" and asked if I happened to have any food. Gave him half my meal that I had taken to-go from a nearby restaurant.

I've had my car a week. I've already been told by two guys that it looks like a Ferrari, and one said it is the best looking car he ever seen. The amount of attention it gets is staggering.

I have a couple.

My favorite that is semi related was an inanimate object giving me a de facto compliment. I had just installed my Corsas in my garage. The first time I started the car, I guess the garage amplified the sound and I set off the burglar alarm on the house across the street. Definitely an accident but it put a giant smile on my fave.

My girlfriend's mom also calls me batman because she says my black GT looks like the bat mobile.

And a few days ago I was cruising the highway and hear something sexy coming up behind me. Then a CO GT with blue gt350 stripes comes up behind me, gives me a thumbs up and points ahead at a camaro. He nods his head and we both drop a gear and pass him right as we hit a long tunnel entrance. We both happened to take the same exit and stopped and gave eachother a few compliments on eachother's car and went about our day. I had a big grin for a while after that.

My wife and I took my sister and her family to the airport on Sunday. We had to bring both of our vehicles because we couldn't fit everyone into just one. So we took my wife's 2015 wrangler 4dr and my 2015 GT PP. We dropped my sister off and parked at the top of the parking garage to let our sons watch airplanes take off and land. We were standing in front of her jeep when we noticed a car park in the spot to the left of my mustang. The driver gets out and walks around the front of his car to walk along my car to check it out. The people didn't notice we were standing there or probably thought the mustang wasn't ours since we were standing in front of the jeep (parked to the right of the mustang.) Anyway, after they checked out the car they went into the terminal and came back out about 20 minutes later. This time my wife was going into the terminal to use the restroom and saw them posing for a selfie. After the first selfie my wife said they were sliding over and positioning themselves so they could get a shot of the mustang in their selfie and the chick was pointing at the mustang during the picture. My wife laughed and told me about it when she came back. I did not see them doing this or I would have just showed them car and let them get in it.

I got pulled over by a state trooper right near my house on Sunday evening. I was only going 60 in a 55 and it was right before the speed limit changed to 60. He spent longer talking about my car than anything else lol. Kept asking questions, went and printed out a warning, then came back for about 10 more minutes talking about the car. Pretty funny.

Started off unintentionally breaking this guy's neck earlier, but then of course I had to have a little bit more fun afterwards after feeling so good. I seen him staring hard earlier when I turned on the road, and he couldn't stop smiling. I muted myself btw, and the mic sucks really bad IMHO on this dash cam, so may not want to have headphones turned up too high.

Nope. He was actually very excited and asking me about the car and what I had done to it because he loves it lol.
