I was driving the other day and had a someone motion me to roll down the window....he says man.... I don't usually like Mustangs..... but that is REALLY nice.

I got the same thing from a friend of mine "I never really liked Mustangs, but that is really nice".

cruising along the highway and as I approached to pass a new Miata, the driver put his arm out and gave me the thumbs up. I gave the wave after passing.

I get so many people looking, it's a typical thing now

Thought I'd revive the Thread.... I bought my 2016gt last fall and did not receive much attention.. maybe it was the pre-winter blues... anyway.. lots of attention this spring and early summer... Had a guy in a cadillac cts pull up to me in a parking lot and say "nice car man" Dropped my wife off at the front door of a restaurant and after i parked and came in a guy was leaving and said... "that is a really nice car you have there" Have a friend who owned a 67 gt fastback stop by to drop off his daughter.. saw the car and asked my wife about it... he just kept commenting on how good it looked. My wife asked him if he wanted to take it for a ride... (we know and trust him) and he was like "yeah" .....grinning from ear to ear the whole time...

I had one Saturday as I passed thru a McDonalds drive thru early in the morning for a coffee.

I hadnt been to this one in years and they were pretty busy. When I finally made it up to the second window to get my coffee, a sweet young woman comes to the window all smiles and says "Sorry your order took so long, we all had to come look at your car".

Had me chuckling all morning. It was cute.

Yeah it's amazing how one comment will stick with you throughout the day.. The Ruby Red color draws lots of attention.beautiful color especially in the sun... It was my second choice after the DIB..

Never thought I would have a crazy comment to post here, but here goes! I was sitting in the 5.0 (post detail) outside of my friend's house, and a small group of young girls walk by. Word for word, this is what one of the girls said to their group:

"That's a nice F***ing car. Is that a Ferrari?"

I took a guy from my office building for a ride the other day and as we were driving we talked about specs, peformance, interior, etc.. I made the comment of: "yeah, I can't believe that you can get all of this for under 40k" He just look at me with shock and said "what?" I asked him how much he thought it cost and he said at least 50-60k

I always got compliments here and there, but the MOMENT I put white wheels on my Deep Impact Blue (with 10" 3M stripes) I can't leave a parking lot without having to chat for a minute about the car with somebody staring at it. Even just riding down the road getting honks and thumbs up is like ten fold.

They do seem to stand out.

Best comment so far was by a Sheriffs Deputy near Nashville Tenn while going to the Tennessee Ren Faire(Yes we are those people). As he was waving us through for parking he said "Thats a really nice car man" ...For some reason it stuck with me.

Lots of compliments, tons of them.

My red 2005 GT got lots of compliments.
My black 2012 GT got like, 2 compliments in 5 years.
My yellow 2016 GT gets compliments all the time. Got one this morning.

Color makes a big difference.

I keep hearing the same thing. I kinda wanna do the fat center stripe with the two outside parallel pin stripes on my Black Stang but everyone tells me to keep it clean.

This morning I got my first neck-breaker! (not to be confused with your average head turner) At least that I've noticed.... Was driving down the highway and this 2-door work-pickup truck is passing on my left (not fast or anything I was just in the right lane getting ready to exit) and I notice the guy in the passenger seat looking back at me with that sort of blank "in awe" stare from the side window as they are passing. Then they get far enough ahead of me that he is turning his head all the way around to look out the back window of the truck. I think he might have been an owl....

I was so excited I had to call my GF who promptly told me " I hung up on my dad for this? bye." *click*. Was just reading through this thread yesterday and figured y'all would appreciate it more.
