Just got a F150 manifold on the way from a member on here. I'm excited. I was considering the 18 manifold but low end torque is way too tempting more than high end HP.
Just as long as it's not chrome. If it' more of a brushed stainless like the GT350R just lighter, I can always tint it lightly to get the "Dark Stainless" look. I'm just on a mission to get rid of the major "reflect the sun's power directly in to your eyes" chrome from my interior.
If anyone is having problems getting Waze to show up, I found that going in to the Mobile Apps settings and making sure both switches are on, and then going to "Update Mobile Apps" and letting it go through the process of updating helps it to work properly.
Is the cluster bezel in the '18s chrome or is it more of a stainless color? I just spent a bunch of money to get all the GT350 interior pieces to go Dark Stainless and a digital dash conversion may be in my future eventually, but I want to know if it will match or look weird.
That's a really weird way of going about that, and you run risk of traction control and ABS issues. You should be at a 40 or 45 series tire on a 19", I'd be hesitant to even do 35 but even that would have been a better choice IMO. It might end up looking goofy too, but I guess we shall see!
The only option here would be to get the wheels in a lower offset and use bolt pattern adapter spacers. We did this to put wheels from my M3 on to a 350Z and they worked fine. Far safer than anything else you could do.
That said, you're better off spending the money on some wheels that fit...
One of the best things I ever did was take a course at Spring Mountain. My father and I were invited by Chevy to do one of the Corvette courses they do and they stressed leaving on the traction control, and would talk about how every course they had some guy that's "been driving longer than any...
For some reason, AWD performance car owners seem to think RWD = Crash and die whenever it's wet or the car is pushed to the limit. You should have seen the crying over the Subaru BRZ/Toyota 86/Scion FR-S being RWD, especially by the Subaru crowd.
A major issue is for some reason people feel...
You'd be better off taking the money you'd be spending on ruining the handling dynamics of the car and putting it in to track instruction time to learn how to push the RWD and drive it to the limits properly.
I know the feeling, I came from a long line of AWDs. But the Mustang is very neutral...
Just got done, took me maybe 2-3 hours without much hassle. HOLY CRAP does the PP2 wake up the car like there's no tomorrow. Regular mode now feels like Sport+ mode did, plus a few HP. Sport+ mode moves like a cat with it's tail on fire. Everything sounds more mean now too, my exhaust sounds...
