No, not yet. Few more weeks still...I thought I read people have taken delivery of some already. Maybe I was mistaken.
If FORD isn't pushing their workers to a better quality and correct their "stamping machines" for the body panels plus make corrections on how they weld the body together ( what FORD will not do - >$$$$$!! ).so... anyone with a 16 having these issues? Im playing my order near the end of the year. Hoping its improved.
As far as the rear window is concerned, with my car it was just as simple as the seal was too thick on the right sideIf FORD isn't pushing their workers to a better quality and correct their "stamping machines" for the body panels plus make corrections on how they weld the body together ( what FORD will not do - >$$$$$!! ).
Go to a dealer and check out the Mustangs he has on the lot. Look close to all edges on doors, fenders and panels. They all have "waves" and that why the S550 looks so terrible. FORD allows a 2mm +/- tolerance. If the left rear quarter panel is 2 mm to low welded in and the right quarter panel 2 mm too high + the "waves" on the edges of the other panels, that's a poor looking rear end. (like my Mustang I had). That's also the main issue the S550 has and will have with the rear windows. The seal isn't too thin on the left side. When the dealers cut the rear window out, they actually put more seal on the left side that the window looks somewhat even. (That's what my dealer tried but didn't work out in the end. *This was asked from FORD for the "fix".)
Don't get me wrong. If you pay only 20,000 USD for a Mustang and you think that's OK with you - get one. But I do not think that FORD will replace all the machines in their plants to start in September 2015 to finally produce a good quality car. The same for the leather seat covers. I am sure the 2016 Mustangs have all the identical issues the 2015 have.
Again for everyone who is looking to get a 2015/16 Mustang. Wait until they are on the lots and check them 1st out!

So we've come a ways from the 'body was welded too high on the right side' to this theory. That's also the main issue the S550 has and will have with the rear windows. The seal isn't too thin on the left side. When the dealers cut the rear window out, they actually put more seal on the left side that the window looks somewhat even. (That's what my dealer tried but didn't work out in the end.
Not sure what you mean by "not as bad as the 2015s" - There is a ton of variation between different 2015 cars. Some had the hood misaligned on one side, some on the other, some were just about perfect. Just walking around a lot looking at a dozen or so 2015s, no two were alike in terms of what was or was not misaligned or by how much. The most consistent thing was probably the sloping rear glass. I am guessing that very little will change in 2016. If there was an easy fix, Ford wouldn't wait, they would would have fixed it months ago The sad truth is that most owners won't ever notice or don't care. When I took mine in for the trunk re-alignment there was a lady picking up her yellow eco-boost that had just been serviced. Her hood was the most hideously misaligned of any I have yet seen, very noticeable from 30 yards away at least. She obviously didn't give a damn and looked to be as pleased as punch with her car.I wish you were wrong, but I was looking at this topic and those photos show the typical driver side fender panel misalignment. It's not as bad as the 2015's, but it's there:
The dealer sent my car off to a body shop to adjust my door panel to better fit to they door and they dented it.
Or they start installing Shims at the Door Hinges and the Rear Window Well, among other adjustable places.I don't expect the issues to be resolved because the engineers are sticking to the claim of "it's within tolerance". Until they make an adjustment to tolerances and reprogram the robots nothing with build quality is going to change.
