There are several Youtube videos on how to remove badging with waxed dental floss and a heat gun. Check 'em out.
Keep using the good stuff, like CarPro or Adams Polish microfiber BUT remember that lint will get stuck on everything from exterior window stripping to interior dash.
A strip of duct tape will work miracles to clean lint up :)
