I brought mine in today for the bumper on the driver side, they ordered a new bracket.

I have this fender alignment issue. This is on the driver side:

I've had it since I bought the car but I never took it to the dealer. Mainly because of the horror stories. I also don't have any experience with dealership work (this is my first car purchased from a dealership). Add that to the fact that I have some bolt ons and even though they have nothing to do with this issue I don't want to be treated differently then someone who doesn't have aftermarket parts.

It's really starting to bother me though so I may just bring it to them. Decisions decisions...

I would get that fixed if I were you, that would be way too much for me to ignore. Take some pictures before you take the car in just in case they scratch anything (they did with mine). But anyway, you car is going to look a lot better after they fix it.

That's an easy fix and they won't care about the bolt-ons. Mine had similar issue at all 4 fenders and they fixed it right up.

No, I was having a lot of other stuff done on that trip to the dealer so it took a week and a half.

It took them the best part of a week just to realign my trunk lid. They did offer to pay for a rental after the first two days though.

So I made the trip to the dealer and it was nothing short of a disaster. The service guy tries telling me that whoever put the tints on the lights where the turn signal is cut the bumper to put them on. Only way to cut the bumper is to take it off so he's trying to tell me that not only did they cut the bumper to put tints on (which makes absolutely no sense at all) they didn't put it back on right so they refused to fix it and told me to go back to them and have them do it.

Distraught, I went to the shop that installed my catback and asked them to take a look. I already knew they were bullshitting me I just wanted them to confirm it. He was busy working on another car and took the time out to pop off the bumper, realign it and bolt it back in. Free of charge and wouldn't accept any money in return.

Never, ever will I go to a dealership again.

I have some of the same issues...nothing as bad as the pic but...nothing is really perfect either. The worst part for me is the front clip on the drivers side where it meets the fender over the wheel well. They are not lined up so there is not a smooth line all over the top of the tire. Also my driver door is sunk in just a little on the door handle end when shut. Kinda erks me but.....I dont know. I am not a car show guy...I struggle with it but lean towards letting that go...is it really that big a deal? For me..I dont know. I love the car so much I think I am just going to look past it. Now, if my trunk was THAT unaligned, I would not be able to handle that I dont think.

This is my exact problem. Had the car a week now. In our extreme heat I have been pushing it back in place, and it pops back when I drive. Looks just like your pic. I stopped at a dealer to have them look at it, and they said bring it in and wait until they can get to it. Didn't sound encouraging. Today when I looked at it after exiting my car, IT WAS BACK IN PLACE! Do they send out secret elves to fix these?

I am skeptical that it will stay. Don't know what is holding it in place, but I can't take it to the dealer until it pops out again. lol

I am way up NORTH in Edmonton Alberta and my 2015 Mustang had the same issues. The 4 corners on the bumper would pop out if we got a bit warmer temps. The bodyshop guy said that the brackets would not fit well and this would be "normal". Every time I did drove my Mustang, I had to push the corners back in place.

With my F150 I am lucky to have chrome bumpers they stay in place!

There's something to be said about the old-school metal bumpers.

So the guy who was servicing my car has left the dealership. Of course no one has notified me and I was in the middle of talking with him to get my rear glass looked at again since the weatherstripping was not attached correctly. This has been such a nightmare. I put in a message with the service manager but any suggestions from you guys I'm listening. I've been in contact with my dealer getting the body panel adjustments done as well as replacing my rear glass. This has being going on for months!

I told the service manager yesterday that since we have had so many issues and the ball has been dropped so many times I would like to g through the arbitration process and if that means in the end you have to buy my car back so be it. He said if you won't give me an opportunity to help we can get the sales manager on the line to start that process. I questioned why he wasn't helping over the past three months. Find it amusing he didn't even flinch about buying back the car but he did want to avoid arbitration
