That is crazy. I wonder what is going on at Bob's to continue to have these types of mistakes. He has a great product but things like this certainly can make people question whether or not to do business there.

Ford racing one is perfect so far. This looks like a solid product too but qc issues will break a company.

I mounted mine different. No kinks and the drain is easier to get to. I will probably paint the L-bracket gloss black this weekend.

Thanks for sharing these pics! Looks like I'll have to go this route myself since the hose they sent me appears to be too short. Any trouble with closing the hood?

Not at all. The pics are deceiving. The coolant expansion tank is actually higher than the oil separator so hood clearance is plenty.

I did this same install after seeing GTBOB pics. I had to cut the long hose going into the intake and it looks very clean. Just waiting on fedex to bring me the Gates super clamp heat shrink.

I've driven around 400-450 miles now with mine on (1650 total miles on the car now). Its been a good mix of short daily city traffic and one day of interstate driving. Some hard driving in there too. I was surprised with how much oil I got out of it when draining it for the first time today. Also happy that it seems to be doing its job even with the bends in the hose entering the can. I did find a small film of oil on the exiting hose, but not much. It seems like all of these cans have a little get by. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase so far and am pleased with the customer service I have received from Steve. It also looks pretty sweet under the hood.

Funny how you all have received this product with hoses attached. WHen I received mine it came with maybe a meter long roll of hose. So I had to cut it myself and attach it. This way no mistakes.
