I was able to bend the little tabs down towards their original position and they just snapped off I would say the machine that was pressing this piece at the factory didn't press right to make the tabs fall off and out. They come off by gently pushing on them with a screwdriver

No pictures yet from people who installed already? Hoping to get mine on Sunday.

Just finished installing mine. Quality is excellent as always with BMR. Maybe I got unlucky with how severely my frame holes were stamped, but holy hell I spent about 2 hrs wrestling those spacers in with a pry bar/BFH/screwdriver.

Hopefully well worth the struggle - if I didn't have an issue with that part this is a 30 min install easy.

Would have been nice to know about this from BMR or to have a mention of it in the instructions... With all of the testing to check for header clearance on different cars, I have to believe this issue reared it's head. Hopefully can get installed in a decent amount of time tomorrow.

We haven't seen that issue. We have 3 cars too.

If we need to make a change, we will.

Installed mine after work today. It has plenty of clearance with the stainless works/power headers. Definitely tightened the front end up. I can tell a difference driving on bumpy roads with expansion joints it seems to be more composed and forces the suspension to work better.

Only took about 30 mins on the lift. I had 4 tabs inside the frame to break loose. I just flexed them back and forth until the broke free. Then I fished them out of the holes the bolts go through. The spacers wouldn't fit by hand either. I used a 12 3/8" drive extension thru the front hole and drove them back with a hammer. Then used a long tapered punch to center the spacers in the bolt holes. After that it is easy.

Here come the pics!:headbang:

From the passenger side.

From the driver's side.

Gotta love the zero loss of ground clearance.

You spent good money and had the BMR jacking rails installed and then when jacking totally missed them?

I figured someone would catch that. The car is too low to get the arms of the lift under the rails. I even drove the car up on 2x4's under all four tires. The arms actually fit under the rear rails with the tires up on 2x4's but I moved them to the pinch welds so the car was supported evenly. I talked to my buddy about changing the the adjusters out to something else for lowered cars.

I do love having the rails on the car for doing driveway maintenance. Just put the jack under the middle and lift up the whole side at once. I am actually thinking about going to the minimal drop springs with the Koni struts after they get in some more peoples hands and have some feedback. Especially with a Whipple in my future plans.

So, when can I expect my brace? Ordered on the 14th, just wondering how big a back order there is.

Man. People on this forum are impatient. That said, some vendors could do better with communications... but dang.
