All BMR materials/parts I have bought from them have been top notch. Glad to hear they will be working for more cool (and lighter hopefully) parts for us. Thanks BMR.

You build that GT PP to handle well and my money will be in your bank account.

May have to agree here. I was always interested in doing up the suspension on my '78 Trans Am, but never did.

315's all around catches my attention. Hope this new Mustang can destroy an auto-x course with some of these upgrades.

I agree as well. Really interested in what is developed for the road course car. Along with details of the blower for the drag car. Then I will merge them. :)

Lol, benefit of weight loss = adding fat tires without weight gain :D

I'm routing for ya to loose 100lbs or more. Depends on how much real race seats and removing rear seats helps. I imagine 100 will be pretty easy with the changes you already mentioned. Your K-member, 30lbs. Extra bracing & sway bars 5 lbs (just a guess), Wheels (at lets say 8lbs a piece) 32lbs. Exhaust 15 lbs, lightweight battery 20lbs maybe. Drive shaft 20 lbs. Solid racing seats 15 to 25lbs each (OEM seats seem to weigh 55 to 60lbs each based off the last couple years) Back seat 20lbs.

So on the low end your looking at about 172lbs weight loss if you include swapping both front seats and removing the rear. 122lbs if you want to keep OEM Front and rear seats. For racing use only, you can save over 220lbs keeping only the Drivers seat, if these estimates are anywhere near accurate. I'm using previous years and the info provided by BMR as a baseline.

So basically making your car still look OEM, you can reduce weight enough to the point where adding a hot girl in your car will bring you back to OEM curb weight

HAHA, I had to go back and read that again because at first I thought you were saying 172 lbs was a hot girl.:headbonk:

Our previous facility was in Thonotosassa.

For the past 2~years or so, we have been in a new facility in Seffner. It backs I-4....so next time you head west on I-4 to Tampa, look to your right for the very large gray/black/red building, right before I75.

You got it! It is going to be a fun experience, modding and racing these 2015's. I am more than anxious.

I'm in that line. I have never done a major power-adder, but I have done suspension and brakes and bracing on all of my Mustangs. I didn't get the PP because I wanted AT, hated the wheels, didn't want the gears and figured I could make it handle myself. Really interested to see where you guys go.
