The cooling capacity of the included oil cooler is mid at best though.

Unless I short-shift at 6k, I am hitting 260 oil temp in 10 minutes. I added actual gauges.

I see you removed all your flappers. I left mine in.

yup. Just followed the TSB and they remove the flappers from air flow improvement

yea i was looking at that initially. the adapter by itself is the same cost of the kit lol. crazy

no idea. I removed my ac stuff a year or so ago. dont want to mislead you and say it should fit.

Sandwich plate at the filter. Gauges are from Speedhut.

another small project i am working on if all parts come in this week is relocating the coolant tank to improve air flow behind the radiator and optimize hood vents.

purchased an s650 coolant tank because it is deeper and not as wide. Will go near driver side strut tower. this will also allow me to fit PMAS CAI.

Making the hoses DIY is no big deal. Get this and you will succeed easily.
I like to terminate one end, screw it into place, then feed the hose to the other location. That way I can truly measure the perfect length.

I will say that IR fittings and hose are very high quality and leak-proof.

I plan to go with BMRS assemblies and I think a 4k tool is needed lol so I will let IR handle that

Well… it took some trimming of the fan shroud but I got the PMAS to fit with about a 3-5mm gap between the tube and the fan.

Received the start up tune from Adam.

Waiting on hoses to come in to move the coolant reservoir.

That's understandable about the timing. I will say the size difference between the gen 2 pan and the gt500 is very noticeable as well as the wallet when you have to buy extra quarts of oil lol

I am working on mounting the oil cooler this weekend hopefully and will have IR make the lines. I dont trust myself and i will be pissed if i have the lines blow lol

TMMV, but I can only get 10 quarts in my GT500 pan. I was expecting 12, and am kind of stunned that it only holds 10.

Yea, Steve told me it will be about 15. He put 5 in the engine to prime it then after we put it in the car, I put an additional 10. He of course read high on the dip stick but he said once I finish the oil cooler, it will circulate through.

Dang man, that's awesome. The stock oil cooler in my car has been doing great, it's kind of shocked me, otherwise I'd definitely consider the route you're going.

You car is going to be completely transformed!
