A little backstory...

I bought the car 'cuz I'm a sucker for good design but wanted a track toy as well. After a trip to SEMA in '15, I decided to trade in my 5 month old Acura TLX (my third UA chassis Acura at the time, 4 total) for a brand new Guard ’16 GT PP with a 6 speed and Recaro seats.

The concept was clear moving forward that I would create an OEM+ style Track Car.

01/09/16: MBRP Cat-Back Street Exhaust.

03/15/16: Installed BMR SP 080 Springs at Cortex (great place for mustangs).

04/09/16: Put on a new set of Stance SC-1's. 20x10 +35 all the way around. 275/35/20 Front and 305/35/20 rear tires mounted up.

05/12/16: Time to test some of these new parts out at the track! Sonoma Raceway HDPE stage 1 by Sim Raceway.

Started the day's instruction with some Auto-X.

Then off to the big boy track.

Thanks man, I would say that every day out is better than the last.

To be honest with you, I didn't have confidence in the car to push it hard in stock form. It was a little too "floaty" even on the street.
