Same kit installed in mine. I followed the frame rail to just behind the lower grill ends which I opened up and added some mesh to keep the garbage out and make them almost invisible.

09/07/24: Did the NorCal Shelby's Fall Classic (We used to call it Mini-Nats) and improved upon my PB!

It was super fun pushing myself and others as well as catching up with friends old and new. There were some awesome battles! There was also several cars that didn't make it. In closing, take safety seriously.

Hope everyone had a MERRY CHRISTMAS! A couple things happened lately.

1. New Lateral Control and Tension Arms (w/Spherical Bearing)

Just to be totally honest, everything I’ve done to my car adds NVH lol. From CF race seats to short throw shifter and yes, suspension arms w/spherical bearings.

I don’t drive my car long distances so it’s not a big deal for me. However if one is sensitive to those types of driving dynamics then don’t do anything I do in this thread .

I finally smogged it for the first time ever. That was a whole process...



After passing SMOG, I returned it back to kill mode in prep for the upcoming season. Swapped injectors, tunes, oil change, tire swap, Li battery swap, and now eyeing some track days and PTO lol.

02/07/25: Attended my first track day of '25 with Fast In, Fast Out's inaugural event!

It was cold and damp in the morning session so I took it easy for a solid 2 sessions but as the sun did it's thing, it turned into a gorgeous day with some great running! There was only 15 cars total and 4 others in my group





My expectation going in was to knock off the rust and at least match my previous PB of 1:51.9.

Unfortunately I was 6/10ths off my previous pace but at least it was fairly consistent.

Did an ALS benefit track day at Willow Springs yesterday. It was a blast. I didn’t wanna get caught out like I did with Fontana so just did it without thinking.

I made a bunch of new friends while connecting with some existing ones. One example was my neighbor lol.

Other than the funds that were raised for ALS research, I shaved 5 seconds off my previous PB! Video coming soon
