Because it is a 6r80 the 350 IM is not real good. The 1-2 shift puts it back to 4400 RPM and the 2-3 drops to 5000. It spends most of it's time in the 18 up trucks sweet spot.
Now on a road course the 350 mani works well since i rarely get in a gear lower than 3rd.
you picked the worse possible transmission for a road course.

This is obviously track dependent and on some tracks the 18 up truck mani is the best option.
As evident by so many (and fastest) Mustang GT's running a 18+ F-150 IM on road courses.

When I say a real drag racer could lower my ET is from seeing this happen. Two drivers in the same car and one is faster. (quicker) Yes, auto trannie
It's an AUTOMATIC. The only way it's going faster is if the driver is 100lbs
less than you. He'll have to be 500lbs lighter to get you that .5 second.

OI didn't buy this for a track car. I have my C6 for that. That said the mustang is still fun on track days.

I don't care what anyone else does or doesn't run on their car. On tight technical tracks the bump in midrange is well worth it.

60 foot is the main difference. I avg about 1.9 I let a buddy drive it and he was cutting 1.6's.

Pretty straightforward right?
Lund Tune.
Just got my final revision and getting a huge bucking after 3/4 throttle shifts in Sport mode.2-3, 3-4.
Plus feels like it's got a dead pedal type feel at varying RPMs in Sport Mode.
Drive Mode feels fine and will pull really good.
I've never has trust in this guy since day one. One revision locked my Trans in first in Sport mode. Guess what they said must be my Trans. I put in an old revision Trans worked fine. Next day got a new revision and voila Trans is shifting fine again. Not a word said about it. It seems like every revision would cause a different issue. One was Tq management was all out of whack. Got it datalogged. Nope can't be the tune. Couple days later got a new revision with this bucking problem.
Tried and true tune blah blah blah
Cars has been gone thru over and over with new Coils, plugs, fuel system different gaps, smoke tests all fueling good so they say.
This I think is the final straw...
My car does not have an aftermarket converter.
Do not drive in Sport Mode- What??
Only 5% Lund customers use Sport mode?Essentially a drag car? WTF?

The thing bucks so hard it almost pulled the Steering wheel out a guys hands that I got to test my car. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong. I mean how hard is it but I wanted to be sure.

Hopefully another tuner will start using the PCMtec tuning software.

Since PCMtec offered to cover the credits I'd give Lund a chance. Nothing to lose.

But I know many FI cars drive stock like using other software.

Wengerd tuned my whipple a10 GT and it’s smooth as glass in any mode. Normal is smooth as glass. Sport and track are much more aggressive but not jerky and drag is basically on/off switch gas pedal but still manages to drive smooth. I only use drag at the actual drag strip. This “that’s how they drive” nonsense is laziness and an effort to keep costs down. Once they get your cash the margins immediately start falling the more time they spend on you.
