you picked the worse possible transmission for a road course.Because it is a 6r80 the 350 IM is not real good. The 1-2 shift puts it back to 4400 RPM and the 2-3 drops to 5000. It spends most of it's time in the 18 up trucks sweet spot.
Now on a road course the 350 mani works well since i rarely get in a gear lower than 3rd.
As evident by so many (and fastest) Mustang GT's running a 18+ F-150 IM on road courses.This is obviously track dependent and on some tracks the 18 up truck mani is the best option.
It's an AUTOMATIC. The only way it's going faster is if the driver is 100lbsWhen I say a real drag racer could lower my ET is from seeing this happen. Two drivers in the same car and one is faster. (quicker) Yes, auto trannie
